Build a scene
Put your figs together in a scene. A stage, a room, a little world.
Scenes are where figs meet. From the home screen’s Scenes tab, a scene opens with the 3D world and five tabs: Figs, World, Animate, Atmosphere, and Camera. A scene can also live inside a real photograph: see Make a photo scene .
Phones show both views at once. The view you work in fills the screen, and the other rides a small corner card. The ⇄ chip trades them. The map is big on the World tab; the world is big everywhere else.
Placing figs
The Figs tab shows your saved figs as cutout stickers. Tap a sticker, then tap in the scene, or drag the sticker straight into the world. Placing a fig selects it, and the tab’s form becomes that fig’s organizer: pose chips, Animate ›, Skin ›, More ›, and a coral Take it out. The Figs tab also holds the Floors, Walls, and Ceilings pattern shelves that dress interior worlds.
Placement helps you: a colored footprint shows where the piece will stand (green for a free spot, amber where it overlaps), and a piece dropped where it cannot stand slides itself to the nearest spot that works.
The World tab
The World tab shapes the world itself. Its doors sit in a list on the left: land, buildings, nature, the ground, and the photo scene. The open door’s controls sit beside the list, and the work lands on the top-down map . See The World tab .
The More worlds shelf picks the backdrop:
The Ground door dresses the floor, with a Pattern size slider. Its Waves row (Calm | Wavy | Stormy) appears once the scene has painted water. Painted water moves on its own: the surface swells and settles, and a fig set to Bob rides the wave. THE MOTION applies to water too, so Chunky water is stop-motion jelly, on purpose. The interior worlds (Dollhouse, House, Office, Shop) come with storeys whose floors, walls, and ceilings each wear a pattern from the Figs tab shelves.
The Camera tab
The Camera tab opens the camera studio. It shoots the scene four ways: Photo, Loop, Video, and Clip. See the camera studio .
Placed figs stay alive
A placed fig keeps everything you gave it: its triggers fire in Showtime, its animated skin plays, and copies can wear different skins . The Animate tab adds motion made for the scene itself: see Scene animation .
Scenes save themselves as you work, and undo and redo cover every step. Done returns to the home screen. Showtime hides the UI to watch the scene. Photos come from the Camera tab.
