Record pages

Cards in the library flip over to show the record page. Select the front of the card to flip it; select the arrow in the header to go back. The record page shows the name, credit (↻ remixed from @handle) if the piece is a remix, when it was made and last edited, and its look (Handheld, Lofi, or Flat; pieces saved in Pixel mode show as Flat).

Pieces shared to the community show Shared below the dates, with their applause, star, and remix counts. Select See its page › to open its public community page. Pieces waiting for review show Shared · In review. A menu fills the rest of the page.

The menu

Menu actions are grouped by what they do, with lines between the groups.

• Edit: Opens the piece in the editor.
• Rename: Lets you type right on the name at the top of the record page. Press Enter to save; press Escape to cancel. An empty name becomes “Untitled”.
• Duplicate: Makes a copy of the piece, adding “copy” to the name. Copies count toward free tier limits, including copies of built-in examples or Learn tutorial pieces. Reaching the limit shows the Free tier limit reached. message.
• Add to scene: Asks Which scene?, with a list of your scenes and A brand-new scene. The chosen scene opens with the piece already picked in the Figs window, ready to place.
• Add to photo: Starts a new scene and runs the photo scene setup with the piece placed in it.
• Add to idea: Adds the piece to the active idea list. If no idea is active, starts a new idea with the piece’s name. After that, the row changes to ✓ Added.
• Share: Opens the share sheet to share with the community.
• Finished: A toggle. Turning it on adds a ✓ to the card front and, for a fig, puts it on the shelf and shows a View note. Finished pieces can show up in displays and in the Snapshot of the day.
• Category: Opens the category picker. The row shows the current category or None.
• Delete: Asks you to confirm (Delete [Asset Name]?) with Cancel and Delete buttons.

Scene cards don’t have Add to scene and Add to photo. The Category row has scene categories, followed by a Vibe row. Add to idea appears only while an active idea exists that has no scene yet. Pattern cards use a different layout: Paint with it replaces the scene actions, and Finished and Category rows are left out.

To change many at once (category, marking finished, exporting, deleting), use the Select tool in the library toolbar. See Your figs .

The category

A piece has one category. Selecting Category opens a window with 16 categories: Characters, Animals & pets, Nature, Food & drink, Kitchen, Furniture, Household, Decor & lighting, Tech, Toys, games & sports, Clothes & accessories, Magic & adventure, Vehicles, Buildings, Street & city, Other. Selecting the current category sets it back to None. Older pieces in retired categories (Props, Cute, Retro) move to Other on their own. Picking a category is optional when making a new piece (What is it?) and required for community sharing (What is it?).

Categories set card accent colors, let you filter on the Figs tab and in a scene’s Figs window, and set the colour of the piece’s tile on the top-down map .

Scene categories describe the setting. The picker has nine categories: Home, Shops & cafés, Work & school, City & street, Outdoors & nature, Travel, Castles & dungeons, Space, Other. These match the filter tabs on the Scenes tab. Older scenes tagged with the Nature vibe move to Outdoors & nature.

The category is saved with the piece. .fig files keep their category; .scene files keep the scene category and the categories of all the figs placed in it. Community posts, remixes, and downloads keep the category.

The vibe

Vibe tags set a scene’s mood. The Vibe row has 16 vibes: Cozy, Cute, Silly, Weird, Dreamy, Fancy, Retro, Futuristic, Liminal, Spooky, Horror, Fantasy, Holiday, Beachy, Rustic, Minimal. A scene has one vibe. Selecting the current vibe again clears it. The vibe is filled in as a tag when you share to the community (which takes up to three tags).

Exporting

Exports of one piece (.glb, .png, .mp4) are done in the editor from the Share menu or the Camera . To export the raw files (.fig, .scene, .pattern) to your device, turn on the Select tool on that library tab, pick the piece, and select Export.
