Skins
Whole saved paint jobs that any copy of a fig can wear.
A skin is a fig’s entire paint job under one name: every fill , every pixel of paint , even its animated pages . Build the cat once, paint it many ways.
Making skins
Skins is the fourth tool on the Color tab, before Light. Tapping it shows a row of skin chips. Each chip carries a name. A fig that has one skin shows one chip, Main.
Press ➕ in the skins row. The new skin starts as a copy of the current paint, so you repaint only what differs. Tap a chip to switch. A fig holds up to 4 skins with Plus. Free keeps 1.
Still or Animated
Every skin has a Still · Animated switch. Flip it to Animated and the skin gets pages that flip as it plays. See Animated skins for the pages row.
Skins in scenes
Once a fig has two or more skins, every placed copy gets a Skin row on its organizer form and picks which one it wears. One villager fig can fill a street with different paint on every copy.
What exports
The skin being worn is what travels: a .glb bakes the worn paint, and a shared fig carries all of its skins.
Skins or clothes?
Skins change the paint, never the shape. Real clothes (hats, jackets, things a fig wears as pieces) are dress-up, and they live in the Closet . A hat is geometry ; the hat’s stripes are a skin’s business.
