Sets

A finished build saves two ways. Glue it into one fig, or box it as a set you can open anywhere.

Snap pieces glue themselves together as you build , and a press-and-hold pries one back off. When a build is done, the building’s detail offers two saves. Tap the building on the Figs tab, or open it from Scene › Everything in this scene :

Glue it into one fig

Every glued piece merges, where it stands, into one library fig: same paint, same arrangement, one thing. The pieces in the scene swap for the new fig on the spot, and a card asks you to pick its bin so the Figs tab can sort it. From then on it places, scales, and animates like any fig you modeled by hand.

Box it as a set

A set holds 2 to 8 pieces and stays pieces: box a garden fence and you can open it in any scene and rebuild it your way. Boxing leaves the original build standing. Bigger than 8? Glue it into one fig instead; the app says so.

Opening a set

Sets live behind Open a set ▸ in the Build door’s Draw section on the World tab. Tap a set and its pieces land on the palette as brushes, ready to draw with. Starter sets, like the Snap cottage and the Garden fence, are always stocked. If a set carton is standing in the scene, one tap opens it and the pieces come out loose.

Sets travel

  • A set card’s shares it as a .set file, self-contained: the receiver needs nothing from your library.
  • A shared scene file bundles every set piece it uses, so a scene full of set walls works on arrival.
  • The on a set card deletes it (tap twice; the first tap arms it).

A shop set and your boxed set are the same kind of object: a name, some pieces, and an arrangement. Anything you can open, you can make.
