Scenes

Starter worlds

Thirteen backdrops a scene can stand in, from a bare stage to a full dollhouse.

Every scene stands in a world: the backdrop, the floor, and the room around it. Pick one from the More worlds shelf on the World tab.

The kinds

  • Theatre is the plain stage: a floor, a sky, room to build.
  • Room is one cozy interior wall-corner.
  • Dollhouse, House, Office, Shop are interiors with storeys. Their floors, walls, and ceilings each wear a pattern from the Figs tab’s shelves, and the map shows one storey at a time.
  • Street, City block, Country road, Field are outdoor stages with their own ground.
  • Space is open dark, no stage floor.
  • Island starts with land already plopped.
  • Photo is your own photograph: see Make a photo scene .

Switching worlds

Switching keeps your placed figs. The world is the room around your work, not the work, so trying the same scene in a different world is one tap. Terrain you plopped belongs to the scene and rides along where the world has ground for it.

The world sets the container; the World tab shapes what is inside it.
