The Clips tab

The Clips tab on the home screen shows Your clips, then community clips. A clip is a string of shots made in a scene .

The shelves

• Featured: Shows one clip, with its title, maker’s @name, shot count, and applause. Select it to open the player .
• Following: Newest first, from makers you follow. Everyone follows the @unflat account automatically.
• Curated shelves (each under its own title): Themed sets picked by the Ünflat team.
• Most applauded: Clips with the most applause and stars first.
• Fresh: The newest clips, newest first.
• Most remixed: The most remixed clips first.
• Challenges: Open clip challenges (ones you entered stay, marked ✓ Entered).
• Your favorites: A private list of clips you favorited. Has a sort toggle that reads ↕ Newest loved or ↕ By maker.

Empty shelves are hidden. If at least 12 clips carry at least three different vibes, a vibe filter row appears above Featured. Select a vibe to show only those clips, or select All.

Clip cards show the poster, title, and shot count. Select a card to play it. If the connection fails, the tab shows Could not reach the community. Try again later.

Your clips

The Your clips shelf sits at the top of the Clips tab and the bottom of the Scenes tab, newest first. It always shows on the Clips tab, and shows on the Scenes tab only after you make a clip. Select a clip to play it. In the player, Keep shooting opens its scene with the Camera on Clip and that clip ready. Clips from deleted scenes still show but can’t be opened or exported: the card reads Its scene is gone and has no Save video, and selecting it shows Its scene is gone, so this clip cannot open.

Clip cards have Save video. This opens the clip’s scene with the Camera on Clip, makes the video (.mp4 when the device can), goes back to the shelf, and shows Video saved. The scene isn’t changed. Saving a clip with no shots shows This clip has no shots to record yet.

If you have no clips, the shelf shows Clips are made inside a scene: open one, then Camera › Clip. There are two buttons:

• Learn with First Clip: Starts the First Clip tutorial from Learn in a blank scene.
• Shoot a clip in [Scene Name]: Opens the scene you changed last with the Camera on Clip. Hidden until you make a scene.

The starter clip

The starter clip, a short clip from us, sits after your clips with a Starter badge. Select it to play. Nothing is saved. In the player, Make it yours copies the scene, figs, and clip to your device and opens the scene with the Camera on Clip. This copy doesn’t count toward the free limits. The starter card then hides and your copy takes its place. Deleting your copy brings the starter card back.

Where clips start

To start a clip, open a scene, select the Camera tab, and select Clip. See Your first clip .
