Sharing a clip
Export a clip as video, GIF, or publish to the community.
The Share chip on the film band opens Share video. Share on Clip organizer opens the same page. The formats are Video, GIF, and Community. Selecting one starts the export. The GIF row sets the GIF’s quality before export. ← returns to the strip.
Video
Saves the whole clip as one video file, with shot lengths, camera moves, words, and all the sound mixed together (music, sound effects, narration). Files are MP4 (when the device can) or WebM. The longest edge is 1920 pixels (a 16:9 video is 1920 × 1080).
GIF
Saves the clip as a silent looping GIF, with two quality settings:
- Living: Scene animations play inside each shot as usual.
- Stills: Animations are off; each shot is a still frame.
Words show in both. The longest edge is at most 480 pixels.
Community
Posts the clip straight to the community; no file is saved. You need to be signed in. Give it a title, add up to three tags, and select Send it in. Clips go through the usual review . Posted clips play in the player and can be remixed. If a clip is too big to upload, an error shows. To fix it, use fewer shots, less paint detail on the heaviest figs, or shorter sound.
Takes
Video and GIF exports from this session show in the TAKES section in the Camera window. Select one to open the share sheet again. Files take the scene’s name.
Video and GIF exports use the frame’s crop. Free exports have a small watermark. Plus exports have none. A sound plays when an export is done.
