Watch and remix

Select any clip on the Clips tab to open the player window. The player shows the clip’s thumbnail before it plays.

• The title bar shows the clip name and the maker’s @name. Select the @name to open the maker’s profile. Select ✕ or tap outside the window to close the player.
• Play and Pause start and stop it. Tapping the view also starts and stops it. At the end, playback stops; Play restarts it from the first shot.
• The dots are the clip’s shots. The current shot is lit. Select a dot to jump to that shot.
• Applaud adds to the maker’s public applause count. You need to be signed in.
• Star gives 10 of your star points to the maker, after you confirm (Give 10 of your N star points). A Plus subscriber’s member star costs nothing. One star per clip; not on your own work. You need to be signed in. See Stars and fans .
• Favorite adds the clip to your private Your favorites shelf. You don’t need to be signed in.
• ↻ Remix copies the clip and everything in it into your library.
• Its page opens the clip’s detail page , with its counts and its remixes. Selecting Watch on that page returns to the player.

In the player you can’t turn the camera, zoom, or edit.

Remixing a clip

↻ Remix copies the whole clip into your library. This includes every fig and pattern it uses, its sounds, a new scene made from the last shot (clips shot in more than one place make one scene for each place), and the whole strip with all its shots, words, and frames. The new scene’s name ends in set. The strip’s name ends in remix. Figs you already have are not replaced. Copied figs and scenes are tagged ↻ remixed from @name; the remixed clip’s card has a remix outline.

Then the player closes and a note says the new scenes are on your Scenes tab. Open the new scene and select Clip on the Camera tab to keep editing the clip. The original community clip isn’t changed. A remixed clip counts toward the free limit.

Selecting a clip card from any shelf opens the player. On a clip’s detail page, Watch also opens the player.
