Magic cut

Magic cut is in the Photo card . It removes connected pixels that match the color you tap.

Select Cut away to arm it, then tap the color on the picture. The matching color is removed. Repeat until only what you want is left. Select Cut away again to turn it off.

• Match: Less | Normal | More sets how close a color must be. Less cuts only close matches. More also cuts colors near it.
• History: Undo cut takes back the last cut. Redo cut puts it back. Cuts are kept in order in the card’s own undo list and stay when you move or change the picture.
• Bring it back: Brings back everything cut away. Shows only when something is cut.

Magic cut works on the original picture, before filters (e.g., dithering). Arming Cut away turns off Pin to face.

Stamping a cut picture

Putting the cut picture on a fig stamps only the pixels that are left. Cut-away areas stamp nothing; with Keep the paint, the paint already there stays. To make a part see-through, use the Eraser set to See-through.

The Magic tap tool in the photo scene foreground settings works the same way.
