The Roblox Studio plugin
The free Ünflat plugin for Roblox Studio: pick a file, and see your creation on a body.
The Ünflat plugin is a free button inside Roblox Studio that does the fiddly parts for you. You hand it a file that Ünflat exported, and it builds the real thing in the workspace: no asset IDs, no importing meshes by hand, no template forms.
What it does
The plugin’s panel has two lanes:
- 👕 Dress a rig takes a clothing sheet (the .png from the classic export ) and puts it on a blocky test dummy right in the workspace, so you see your shirt on a body in seconds. Free, no upload, no account steps.
- 📦 Build a model… takes a .lowpoly file (from the accessory export ) and builds real textured mesh parts, colors and facets intact, wrapped for the accessory slot you picked in Ünflat. From there Roblox’s Accessory Fitting Tool snaps it onto any avatar and places the attachment point itself.
Honest before any upload
When you do move toward uploading, the panel shows a short checklist of the things worth knowing first: the thumbnail can’t be changed after upload, some accounts need verification before Roblox shows the avatar item option, and wearing something yourself is a different (and cheaper) step than selling it. No surprises at Roblox’s door.
Getting the plugin
You need a computer with Roblox Studio, which is free. Then:
- Download the Ünflat plugin (one small
file,
unflat-plugin.rbxmx). - In Studio, open the Plugins tab and press Plugins Folder. Drop the file in that folder.
- Restart Studio. The Ünflat button appears in the Plugins tab.
That’s the whole install. The plugin is free, runs only inside Studio, and uploads nothing unless you press the upload button yourself.
