Create an accessory
Build a hat, hair, backpack, wings, or a prop in Ünflat, sized for the avatar slot it's going on.
An accessory is any Flatling that rides on an avatar: a hat, hair, a backpack, a shoulder pet, wings. You build it like anything else in Ünflat. What makes it an accessory is picking the slot it lives in at export time, and a few habits that keep Roblox happy.
Think in slots
Roblox gives every accessory a home on the body: Hat, Hair, Face, Neck, Shoulder, Front, Back, Waist. Each slot has its own amount of room, so it helps to know where your creation is headed while you shape it. A backpack gets much more space than a pair of glasses.
Build habits that survive the trip
- One piece. A hat made of three loose chunks warns at export, and the Marketplace prefers a single mesh. Stamp with Touch so parts join, and let the plugin weld the rest.
- Watertight. No see-through holes into the inside. The export checkup names any open edges it finds.
- Mind the triangle budget. Roblox caps accessories at 4,000 triangles. The export card counts yours live, and honestly, most Flatlings sit way under the cap.
- Facets are welcome. Accessories export faceted, so the crisp low-poly look you built is the look Roblox gets.
Get the fit right before you leave
Sizing is automatic (the export comes out wearable for the slot you picked), and 📏 Check the size shows your creation on a Roblox mannequin with one slider to tune it. The size you pick there is the size that exports. Your Flatling itself never changes.
The full card, checkup and all, is documented in Roblox accessories . When it fits, head to the accessory export .
