Your figs

The main screen is a grid of your pieces. Select a card to open its record page . Double-select a card to open it in the editor. Card headers show the name, an edit button, and a share button (↗). Pieces marked “Finished” show a ✓ (a challenge’s answer shows the character’s face). Card background colors match the piece’s category. Pieces you got with Remix have a purple outline. Pieces you shared to the community show live applause and star counts on the card front.

The top bar shows the app name and the current tab. The menu bar under it has New · Settings · Help · Ideas. New has the commands for making new pieces: New fig…, New scene…, and New pattern…. Settings has toggles for Sounds, Music, and Vibration (on devices that have it), plus All settings…. See Getting around for more on the menus.

The six tabs

The main tabs sit at the top. Today opens first.

• Today: Has the inbox (active design challenges pinned to top); Today's downloads ; Your sets progress; and the Start here row (New idea or My idea, Photo scene, Clothes for Roblox, New fig, New scene). Below this, the Snapshot of the day sits beside Jump back in (quick links to the three most recently edited figs and scenes).
• Figs: Your figs. Has the Your figs | Community toggle.
• Scenes: Your scenes. Has the Your scenes | Community toggle. More than three scenes turns on category filter tabs (All, Home, Shops & cafés, etc., plus Sets). The Snapshots gallery and Your clips list show under the main grid. Select a clip to keep editing it.
• Patterns: Your patterns. Has the Your patterns | Community toggle. Adds a shelf for stickers, murals, wall/ground textures, photo textures, and frames once you make one of that kind. The Community side filters by kind only.
• Learn: The lessons. See Learn cards .
• Clips: Videos from the whole community. It has no Your | Community toggle. The Your clips shelf always stays at the top. If you have no clips yet, the shelf shows Clips are made inside a scene: open one, then Camera › Clip. with two buttons: Learn with First Clip and Shoot a clip in [Newest Scene Name]. Clips are shot with the Camera in the scene editor; see The Clips tab . If the network fails, a message and Try again show.

Sideways shelves scroll when you drag them. Filter tab strips wider than the screen also scroll by dragging or with the mouse wheel.

The community has no main tab of its own. Get there with the Community toggle on the Figs, Scenes, and Patterns tabs, or from the Clips tab.

Inside the Figs tab

The grid starts with the dashed New card. More than three figs turns on category filter tabs for the 16 categories (see Record pages ), plus Set pieces (pieces of sets you are collecting). Older pieces in retired categories (Props, Cute, Retro) go to Other on their own. The Scenes tab has a Sets category for set scenes. The chosen tab is remembered next time.

The toolbar sits under the filter tabs, starting with the Select toggle. If the grid has more than one piece, the sort button (Newest ▾) appears at the end: Newest first, Name A–Z, or Oldest first. Each tab keeps its own sort. The toolbar sticks to the top of the screen as you scroll.

The 3D shelf sits in the row just below the first grid cards. Select it to open it full size. If no figs are marked “Finished”, a note shows. The daily snapshot shows as a triple-width (double-width on a phone) tile right in the grid. Its place changes randomly each day, and it shows only some of the time for libraries under 30 pieces. Select the tile to make the snapshot scene.

Selecting many cards

Turn on the Select toggle, then tap cards to add them to the selection. Selected cards show a ✓ in the header. Long-press any card to turn on Select and add that card at once. The status bar shows the count ([N] figs picked) and what the next action will do. Picks stay while you switch between the Figs, Scenes, and Patterns tabs, and Export and Delete act on all of them, so one file can hold a fig and its pattern. The status bar then counts each kind (e.g., 1 fig, 1 pattern picked). Select Select again to turn it off and clear the selection. On small screens, the toolbar scrolls sideways. Switching to Community ends the selection.

While Select is on, the toolbar has actions for the selection:

• Category ▾: Gives every selected card the same category. Select None to clear the category. The label shows the category if all the selected cards share it. On the Scenes tab, this shows scene categories, with a Vibe ▾ button beside it. On the Patterns tab, this becomes Shelf ▾.
• Finished: Toggles it on or off. It adds the “Finished” stamp and puts the figs on the 3D shelf. If every selected card is already Finished, it removes the stamp. This is hidden on the Patterns tab.
• Export: Saves the selected pieces as files. One piece saves as its own file type (.fig, .scene, .pattern, .set); a single scene with clips exports as [scene name].unflat. Several pieces go into one .unflat file with the count in the file name (e.g., 3-figs.unflat). You can open this file on another device with Open a file.
• Delete: Asks you to confirm (e.g., Delete 3 figs?) with Cancel and Delete buttons. Deleting is permanent; a later Sync down will not bring deleted pieces back. To get them back, open a backup file yourself. See Cloud sync .

Your parts

The Your parts row sits under the 3D shelf, listing figs saved as parts. These show in the editor under Add › Parts. Roblox clothes you make (shirts, pants, t-shirts) go in their own Your Roblox clothes row. Start them from the Roblox clothes rack on the Patterns tab. 2D stickers go under Your stickers on the Patterns tab.

Starting a new fig

Select New on the Figs tab or New fig on the Today tab. The New fig panel takes a name, a category, and a world size. With no name, figs are called “Untitled-1”, “Untitled-2”, and so on (“Picture fig” for From a picture).

• What is it?: A dropdown with the 16 categories; pick one. Optional. None clears it.
• How much detail?: Sets how many blocks the grid spans (block size stays the same). Options include Chunky (8³), Balanced (16³), or Crisp (32³). Picking one makes the fig. The world size locks for good once you place the first shape. See World resolution .
• From a picture: Turns an image into a flat 2D shape on the Balanced grid. See-through parts of the image stay see-through. The back shows the picture mirrored. The shape fits the image’s proportions, with see-through padding where needed. The fig opens in Paint, set to Ultra fine so the picture doesn’t lose detail. The image is already on the canvas with See-through first on. Make parts see-through with Cut away or Eraser, tap the canvas to put the picture on, and select Done. See Photo and Magic cut .
• Open a file: Opens the file picker for .fig, .scene, .set, .pattern, or .unflat files. Opened files go to their own shelves. Opening these files from the device (Files app, file managers, AirDrop) works the same way. Opened from outside the app, .fig and .scene files are added to the library and open right in the editor.

The free tier allows up to 5 figs you make. Built-in examples, daily downloads, saved parts, stickers, and tutorial pieces don’t count toward this. Making things (Duplicate, Fig › New fig…, from an idea, from a challenge) adds to the count, and so does opening a fig from a file. Reaching the limit shows the Free tier limit reached. window and blocks making more. The scene limit is 3; the pattern limit is 5. Plus subscriptions remove all these limits.

The app saves as you go. Changes save on their own while you work and when you select Done.

The example figs

A new install starts with two figs: Little House and Pine Tree. These show up once per device. Deleting them removes them for good; they don’t come back when the library is empty. As built-in examples, they don’t count toward the limit, even after you edit them. Copies of them are normal figs and count toward the limit.
