Ünflat in the classroom

How Ünflat works in a classroom: seats, student accounts, and what a class shares.

School mode turns Ünflat into a closed classroom toybox. Every student gets a seat, everything the class shares stays inside the class, and nobody needs a password, an email address, or a real account. Accounts without the account headache.

Setting up a class

Open ⚙ Settings and tap Set up a class. The sheet asks for a class name, your name, and a teacher password, then a student list:

🏫 School seats
Class name (Room 12) · Your name (Ms. Petrov) · Teacher password (just for you)
Student list: one student per line, first names are plenty.
Make my class
The setup sheet. Paste your student list and every student gets a username.

Tap Make my class and every student on the list gets a friendly minted username like sunny-otter. No student passwords, no emails, nothing to reset. Only you set a password, and it locks the teacher desk, not the app.

How students join

Students tap 🏫 I have a class name on the start screen and type the username you gave them. That is the whole sign-in. The student view doc walks through what they see next.

What a class shares

Inside a class, the class box replaces the open Community tab:

  • Students see classmates’ approved work only. A share waits in your approval tray before it goes live.
  • The only outside content is Ünflat’s featured shelf and the Learn cards. No open browsing, no likes from strangers, no profiles.
  • You approve, send back, or take down anything from the class desk .

Where the class lives

The class is stored on the device it was created on, and nowhere else. We receive no student data at all. On shared classroom tablets, set the class up on each tablet the class uses. Closing a class wipes its seats and its class box from that device.

A seat is a username and a first name. That is everything a student can lose, which is the point.
